OUR ACCOMMODATION
Two hand-built, off-grid cottages, each with its own character, its own fireplace, and a whole farm to enjoy.
Andy built both cottages by hand from strawbale and earth render, using clay dug from the farm. They're self-contained and off-grid, the kind of eco accommodation that's hard to find this close to Margaret River. Warm in winter, cool in summer and quiet all year round. Both cottages run on solar and rainwater, with friendly animals on your doorstep.
SLEEPS 8

A round house with a domed ceiling, curved white walls and coloured leadlight windows that move light around the room as the sun crosses the sky. Andy built The Dome from strawbale and mud render to flow without corners, which gives it a soft acoustic that artists and musicians love. There's nothing else quite like it near Margaret River. Open the wooden shutters and you'll often catch kangaroos grazing on the lawn outside.
From $330/night for two
2-night minimum
Family-friendly, The Dome sleeps eight: a queen room with ensuite, a second room with two singles, plus children's bunks and a fold-out sofa for two more in the main living area. Suitable for multiple uses from romantic weekends away to enough space to house an 8 person brass band or yoga retreat.
A fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and cooktop, a wood fire for cold nights with logs from our own plantation supplied. A big handmade dining table, perfect for family dinners and games nights. There's enough space to watch TV, do a puzzle or find a nook and curl up with the book

SLEEPS 6

The Chalet started life as the farm's pig shed. Andy's converted it this into a Mediterranean-style strawbale cottage. With a private porch and secure dog enclosure if you fancy exploring our beautiful Cape Leeuwin Naturaliste National Parks, which are dog-free. Guinea pigs roam free on the farm, so please keep dogs on a lead. The trampoline is a favourite with the kids. And the big open space without city lights is a favourite with stargazers, accompanied by a glass of famous Margaret River wine and a blanket.
From $250/night for two
2-night minimum
Queen main bedroom. A second bedroom with a double bunk on the bottom and single on the top. An extra mattress can be requested to snugly fit in either room, accommodating a maximum of 5 guests.
Open-plan living around a wood fire stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a wood-fired BBQ on the verandah, and an outdoor pot-belly stove for camp-fire nights. Perfect for roasting marshmallows.

Two-night minimum at both cottages. One-off $80 cleaning fee.
Well-behaved dogs welcome. Please keep on a lead at all times due to free roaming guinea pigs and ducks.
Off-grid Living
Solar power, solar hot water and filtered rainwater as drinking water. Enjoy all the comforts of home. The woodfire boosts the coldest nights, and all firewood is supplied for cosy nights around the fireplace.
Walking shoes, a torch for the night sky, and the kids' enthusiasm for feeding time.
Pick your cottage, check the dates, and the farm will do the rest.
